oshostof: Displaying Database Host Name

Syntax

oshostof pathname


pathname 
Specifies the database for which you want to display the host name.

Normal pathname syntax is supported.

When you specify a pathname that is a symbolic link, oshostof displays the host of the database that the link points to.

When you specify the pathname of a Server-remote database, the oshostof utility returns the name of the host where the database resides.
